Mixin' it up near Stanford

Last night, I ran into a frequent chowhound contributor who was reminiscing about the "mix-ins" at Thomas Sweet ice cream, which he enjoyed in his days as a student in New Jersey. Coincidentally, today I spotted Cold Stone Creamery in the Town & Country Village mall at Embarcadero & El Camino in Palo Alto. Unlike Thomas Sweet, this place does the mixins by hand. It was a little on the expensive side ($4 for small waffle cone of french vanilla w/heath bars mixed in), but price was forgotten once I was enjoying the cone in my car. I see from a prior post on the San Diego board that this may be a chain.
