Missing San Francisco in Century City--need survival skills stat!

I just moved, and I want to love LA. I really do. But...a hound could cry her eyes out living in the culinary wasteland that is Century City, near Beverly Glen and Santa Monica Blvd (renamed: "The Road That Shall Never Be Fixed.")

Research shows I should be heading to Clementine for breakfast/brunch/lunch, La Cachette for dinner, and Albona (Monte Alban? I have it written down somewhere) for Oaxacan.

The most delicious places I've been so far are Musha in Santa Monica (trendy Japanese home style cooking) and Lucy's (a divey Mexican place; possibly the best menudo I've ever had anywhere).

I am already in love with the Santa Monica farmers' market. I also liked the Century City farmers' market.

I'm looking for food in all price ranges, but mostly little every day places for:

Mexican
Sandwiches
Any kind of low key Asian meal
A large Korean grocery store with great fresh kimchi
Other Asian grocery stores
Latin grocery stores
Best Jewish deli in the area, since there are so many
Best Kosher Middle Eastern grocery store
Wine Shops (already went to Wine Expo)
Great places to buy cheese
Fresh Bread (that la Brea stuff is sad)

Bonus points for places that will remind me of SF (AOC and Lucques don't count; I too am a Suzanne Goin fan and already have plans to head there)

Where else?
