For several years I was buying a freeze-dried miso soup
(Yamasho brand, from Japan) at West Side Fairway. They have told me they will no longer carry it. Katagiri does not have it either. My question is two-fold: 1. Does anyone know a source for this product, which comes in a 4.23 ounce yellow can (16 servings) and "only" 300 mg sodium per serving, way less than other "instant" misos I have seen????????????
2. Could somone provide a recipe for miso soup?? (I am not up on the different varieties..a basic recipe would be great!)...........I already have a tub of Light Yellow Miso in my fridge.....can I use this up in soup??? Many thanks!!!
