we are going to lacma tonight, to see the modigliani show (finally!). i believe the museum is open all night and free. also, it's our anniversary (9th, so we're saving up for a big one next year).
we want to hv dinner somewhere conveniently located to the museum. we don't live anywhere near that neighborhood, so don't get to those restaurants often. we do not hv reservations anywhere, but i can call this afternoon and we're flexible on time -- can eat later. hv not been able to decide what type of evening we want. don't want to spend a lot of money, but would like something romantic with good food.
based on reading many posts on this board and other research, i am considering the following. i've read the posts, both pro and con, for most of these, so wondering if there's anything new to report and also just looking for hound input, since i can't seem to figure it out on my own. i hv not been to any of these places before (we'd like to try something new). also, i don't eat meat (land living), but do eat seafood and my husband eats everything. in the mood for either wine or good cocktails, fresh, seasonal produce, cheeses, good dessert. doesn't hv to be fancy, but elegant would be nice. so, pls weigh in!
