Mint and Parsley Substitutes?

Though it may be heresy to say so, I have never liked the taste of fresh mint or parsley. Does anyone else feel this way, and if so, what do you substitute (as compared with omitting) when a recipe calls for one or both of these? I have had some luck with thai basil, but that's as adventurous as I have gotten. Thanks!

(Obviously, I don't make a lot of tabbouleh.)
