After shopping the Thursday night farmers market in downtown, I headed to Mint + Craft because I needed to sit down and warm up.

First up, a chai latte that was not terrible but was made with a weak brew and barely spiced at all. Then a bowl of the soup of the day, Black bean chili with sausage, that turned out to be monotonal as well on a very hot cayenne note. I had to down a lot of water and eat that piece of bread after a couple spoonfuls. Then I gave up as this soup was just not enjoyable in any way other than the three nubs of sausage I fished out.

This is a counter service spot, and my order got lost. I had to ask for it after I noticed that customers who had come in after me had all gotten their food. Did I hit them on a bad night food and service-wise? Would welcome other opinions.
