Minneapolis: bella vino...penne...whatever

OK, all, had a good eat at this place without a sign off of Lyndale and 50th (go south on Lyndale and take a right on 50th, and it's about a block up on your left, next to a knick-knack store on the corner). It's something like "Bella Vino Leche" or "Vino Penne Something-or-other," anyway, it's Italian. Had seared (sp?) duck and it was tasty. But stay away from what looks to be an interesting appetizer - it had beets, dijon mustard, cucumbers, and something else, and way too much pepper. Not good. Wine was good, service was excellent. We had to wait 30 minutes on a Tuesday night. Longer wait on the weekends. Oh, yes, the specials' prices are nearly twice what the pasta dishes are on the menu, so beware.

This place got a good write up in the City Pages.
