Mimosa on Beverly

i just tried mimosa for the 1st time, nothing special at all. got the grilled hanger steak frites, in what was supposed to be shallots, but rather it was a vinegary salty syrupy mess. fries were ok, though, and the cornichons they brought in the french canning jar to the table were ok and the chocolate mousse was ok though nothing special, never tried it when it opened but this place isn't promising at all. the steak was also a bad cut of meat for around 20 bucks, and my friends lamb chops were close to 30 so not cheap either.
