Planning a visit to Toronto and read about the recent renovations to the historic Jolly Miller tavern. The photos of the enclosed patio/terrace seating & Don Valley (?) view look great.
Aside from the burgers and quesedillas (yuck!), the menu looks nice but expensive. Prix fixe lunch menu at $35 is not bad... (Link below)
Has anyone tried this place recently for weekend lunch? Any other suggestions for an uptown spot to take mom for her birthday???

Thanks a bunch y'all
