My wife and I will be in Italy for 10 days in late June-early July. We're starting in Rome, driving through Umbria and Tuscany and ending up in Milan.
When in Rome, we'll eat as the Romans do (many thanks to chowhound). Similarly, when in Umbria and when in Tuscany, we'll eat local and regional specialties.
In Milan, I'd like to get some of the local flavor by going to a hip/trendy place. My wife, though a chowhound at heart, does put up with excessive chowhounding at times. I'm hoping to find a place that can sate her Vogue-reading, Style-channel watching, shopping side.
I would like the food to be good, but I would also like it to be very fashionable as well. Prices should not be outlandish, but a full meal for $100 or slightly more for two people would be okay. I'm looking to have this meal on a Saturday night.
