Sometimes we just need to return to the Chinese food and restaurants of our childhood, nothing fancy, but great chow mein with pan-fried noodles [egg like noodles fried crisp into a "cake"],fried rice and delicious bar b que pork. If anyone remembers and still pines for this type of food that we last experienced in SF at Mike's Gourmet Chinese restaurant [run by Andy and his wife] out on Geary about 17th [which closed several years ago]--HAVE YOU FOUND A DECENT REPLACEMENT of similar food??? Please advise! THANKS!!
