Had some pozole (chalkboard special, $6) at Mijita yesterday. Rich, dark broth, falling-apart chunks of pork, lots of chiles, very spicy--more than most of the dishes I had at China Village the other night. Not very similar to the pozole I get in Guadaljara, but delicious and much better than any pozole I've had in the U.S.
I think long-simmered and braised things are Mijita's forte. My other two favorites there so far are the sopa de albondigas and the carnitas.
