Had a fine sampling of Mighty Quinn's Texas Chili and Founder's Beer last night during a special promotional evening at Savor, the new food court at The Westchester Mall in White Plains. Became big fans of Might Quinn's in lower Manhattan on 2nd Ave. On hand to greet guests and answer questions were founder Micha Magid and company pitmaster Hugh Magnum.
We just had to follow with an order of their fabulous Brisket, Burnt End Baked Beans, and Sweet Potato. A bottle of Founders helped wash it all down.
Savor at The Westchester has filled in a bit. Food vendors now also include: Tomato & Co., Hai Street Kitchen, Juice Generation, Whitman's New York, and Bluestone Lane Coffee. There are multiple seating areas including and outdoor patio with fire pit, a gaming area for children, TV's and a schedule of live entertainment.
Glad to have Mighty Quinn's in Westchester...
