Mid-Game Salvadoran Eats

So we drove by Vicky's Restaurant (on San Carlos in San Jose) and saw signs saying they served pupusas a while back and thought it'd be nice to eat during the football games on Sun. Great decision!!! The pupusas were great ( I had cheese with lorcas and my boyfriend had the carne asada with cheese). They also have plain cheese, beans and cheese, and chicken. We also had their tamales (Salvadoran style) wrapped in banana leaves---I've had much better and pasteles filled with zucchini, chicken, peppers, carrots, and bits of potatoes (they were good but the filling could've used a little more salt. They also serve some Mexican dishes. I saw a family eating fajitas and it looked and smelled so good. I can't wait to go and try some of their other stuff!!!
