Why don't we hear more about this place?
I had wanted to go for the longest time. Recently went twice in the past 30 days or so. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Waitresses are friendly and on the ball. Bread is outFREAKIN'standing as is the olive oil that accompanies it. How crazy is it to note IT ACTUALLY TASTES LIKE OLIVES unlike so many others (including mine at home, GEEZ!).
So far we've enjoyed a lamburger and the short rib sandwich from the lunch menu. Clams casino are delicious! Then there's that bread to soak it all up.
We went for dinner earlier this week and shared a carpaccio starter served over arugula with truffle oil and some thinly sliced Parm Reggiano. JUST WOW. Then, also shared, the pork chop giambotta. I have never seen or eaten such an immense chop before this one, nor one that was quite so juicy and delicious. Easily 2 inches thick or more, like filet mignon. I should have snapped a photo, but was eager to dig in and enjoy. We also shared, because starches are delicious, a side of creamy polenta. Generous enough for plenty at dinner with leftovers for home, too.

But I thought it would be nice to have a more current discussion, so here I am. What are your favorites at Mickey's?
