Looks like Michael's Genuine clocked in at #4 on Bruni's "best new restaurant not in NYC" list. It beat out some distinguished names like Guy Savoy and Michael Richard. Hopefully it inspires more chefs in Miami to do the same.
I love the place, and in Miami, it's next to Sardinia as my favorite. But as much as I like the MG's, there are probably plenty of other restaurants that are just as good, if not better that weren't on the list (eg. Nopa in SF, Mozza in LA).
Still, it's good to see Michael's get a few nods.
