it always comes up just as the hunger creeps on us on a nice day. we do not know of places with great food & ambiance. Anything goes--on the water bay, river, ocean, or cafe style, or in some lush greens. We seem to be in a rut, and always end up in the same joints. We go to Vaca gorda, little havana, versailles, matsuri, sushi samba, garcias, big pink, news cafe to name a few. I still do not feel I have a grasp on the Miami food variety. Please send me to an authentic italian (tuscan, roman, piedmontese--whateer they do well) that wont beak the bank. Coming from ny, I am ashamed to say, I have been scared to try italian, thai or chinese in miami. It's really just reluctance to go to an unproven place wasting time and $ on bad food. I'm sure there are many great choices. Also on these sunny cooler days, where to kick back with a good view and eat well prepared food?????????? We live in south beach & have a car. Thanks in advance.
