Mia Rancho- good experience in Silver Spring plus real diversity

Had an execellent lunch there on Saturday- very good service, well prepared food, reasonable prices. Sangria was excellent. The ceviche was very fresh- I prefer the small dice of some other places- but not my significant other- but it was super fresh. My SO
had the rack of lamb which was cooked as ordered- rare and very tasty with the smokey taste of the grill. I had a grilled lobster tail, shrimp and faghita platter which was well executed- but what I liked about the place most of all was although in many ways it was very similar in menu and decor as say a Rio Grande- it had a crowd that reflected the type of food, the Silver Spring and Takoma Park area- it was not yuppiefied Bethesda (and I am both from Bethesda and I guess a yuppie and love eating in Bethesda) lots of happy families, single diners and pairs like us - very nice and good to see it being so well supported by the diverse area in which it is located
