Mezzetta for Tapas

Had the pleasure of dining at Mezzetta - 681 St Clair West (St Clair and Christie) on Saturday night. Was the first time I had tapas and must say this was an ideal way for my friends and I to dine!

I'm obviously not an expert at tapas but can confidently say the food here was delicious, and the service excellent.

All tapas are the same price (I think it was $3.29/tapas but don't quote me) and at the top of the menu they recommend the number of tapas given the number of people, ie 20 (?) tapas for 4 people. There were so many to choose from we were in our glory. There were a number of salads, spreads, meats, and veggie dishes.

The dessert offerings were a little scarce (3 choices) but the baklava was delicious all the same.

The restaurant was small (maybe 12 tables) and would have been a bit tight if all tables were full but there were only 3 other tables full at the time we went in.

Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly, and service was prompt but not rushed.

Will definitely be going back to this lovely little cafe again!

And by the way someone previously asked about tapas and sangria and my friends thoroughly enjoyed both here.
