Hello all, will be making a visit to Mexico City in a few weeks to visit family and just wanted to get some feedback on places to visit. I have built a fairly thorough google map (much more stuff than I will have any chance to get to in 2 weeks) and need to narrow down some musts. I get in Saturday the 16th pretty late and the following weekend we will go to Acapulco for Xmas so weekends are kinda lost. I have included a link to my map if you care to look through and I have sort of grouped places together by type as best I could.
I currently have a reservation at Maximo Bistro for Tuesday the 19th. That will likely be the only higher end meal we will do, but if we can squeeze another in what would be best from Azul, Nicos, and Yuban and what might one expect to pay at those places?
2 or 3 breakfast spot recommendations? Pretty set on Lalo and El Cardenal, any other musts?
Most recommended of the seafood places?
Taco places, if you check the map, which can I weed out?
Quick questions on shopping. Where would one be most likely to find vanilla beans? Also looking for a good liquor store, would like to find Xtabentun Liqueur and Xanath vanilla liqueur. Can beef blood be found in markets (would like to make a meal for my family once or twice during my stay)?
Bonus Q: would like to check out bullfighting, is it likely to be going on Sunday the 17th?
