Mexico City -- Casual but delicious dinner

Dave MP | Oct 22, 201711:46 AM

We'll be in Mexico City for a long weekend, meeting up with some friends. Friends don't eat pork, but they do eat other meat. We eat everything. This will be our third time in Mexico City, and we are planning for a meal at Contramar. But we also want a meal for Saturday evening

For Saturday, I'd love to find good mole (which I love) but a menu with various options would be great. Not looking for super fancy.

Last December we were in Puerto Vallarta and ate at Red Cabbage, so a restaurant that is sort of like this (cozy, intimate, good food) would be great, if that helps as a reference. My report from PV is here:

Azul Historico seems to be an option, so am considering that. Also considering Guzina Oaxaca. But if there are good places that could work in Coyoacan area, that might be nice too, since we could make an afternoon/evening of it.

Thanks in advance
Dave MP
