Mexican grocery in the NW/N/Western burbs?

Suz | Jan 3, 2005 07:53 AM

I'm looking for a good Mexican grocery store (or one that even has a wide array of Mexican products, moreso than a place like Valli Produce) in the NW, north or western burbs. I seem to recall there being one up on either Dundee or Lake Cook near Wheeling or Buffalo Grove, but each time I've gone in search of it, I can't remember exactly where it's located. I believe the name is Jimenez Brothers or something like that.

Also looking for a suburban place that has good carnitas specifically, or even just good authentic Mx food in general. We're tired of the overpriced, sub-par food we've eaten at Lalos recently.
