Yes, it does exist! Most of the food we ate in Albany
was bland, bland enough to be a memorable feature of
our stay. But there is salvation -- La Mariachi, at the
beginning of Central Ave.
They do not serve what I think of when I hear "Mexican
restaurant" -- tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tamales,
etc. The dishes are mostly different types of stew. I
ate a stew of beef and red onions, with a strong citrus
flavor. My father had chicken in a cream sauce.
On Sunday nights they have live classical guitar and a
dancer.
