Not much info available.

Herald pre-anouncement:

The process of converting Beantown into Beeftown continues with the opening of the Metropolitan Club, a new steakhouse, due this month. The new place, owned by film producer Kathy Sidell Trustman, is taking over the Chestnut Hill space formerly occupied by Figs, on Route 9; executive chef is Jeffrey P. Fournier, late of Sophia's, Pignoli, Locke-Ober and Excelsior.

The concept is steakhouse with a twist, and offerings will range from traditional beef, seafood and pasta items to monkfish ossobuco, duck three ways and watermelon steak. Small plates will be offered at the Met Bar. For more information, call 617-731-0600.
