I've been to many great mexican joints all over this town, but I have to say, I'm really in love with La Cabanita. The flavors are all perfect, the texture, the taste. I had meatballs with boiled eggs in the center the other night. Unreal sauce over them. The place looks so antiseptic, almost like a stupid Chipolte or something, and yet the food is so authentic. There's a disconnect -- you think that you need to be in this authentic looking mom&pop place to have mom&pop food -- but this food is making me believe my stomach over my eyes.
