So I made a quick beer bread recipe that called for baking powder, but I accidentally grabbed the baking soda instead. The bread is now done and tastes funny; very bitter tasting compared to how it normally tastes. I already have another (correctly made) loaf in the oven but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do with the messed up loaf besides tossing it. It's not really that great to eat on its own; does anyone have any ideas for if it could be used in something like bread pudding or stuffing? I don't want to waste it, but on the other hand, I don't want to make something like bread pudding and have it turn out yucky as well, and then have wasted even more ingredients.
