Mesa: Palee's Crown grand opening

starlightjulian | Aug 26, 200702:41 PM     7

Hello all!

Wanted to go to Wild Fish last night, but was swayed to try Palee's Crown (Alma School/Baseline) as it was grand opening weekend. I ordered the Tom kha soup and two entrees- green curry and spicy green beans (basically pad prik khing). Sad to say, twenty-five minutes later and I still had not been served any food, not even soup! I was very upset, bec. I've been to the same restaurant (back when it was Thai Hut), and I always was served an entree within 15 minutes or less! There were only five other tables occupied when I arrived, and most had entrees served (by the time my order was placed, many had ordered and received their desserts!). I'm sure they had take-out orders, as well...

I hate to admit it, but I had to stand up and leave. I did tell them that I thought that 25 minutes for soup is a very long time to wait.

Good luck to those brave enough to try visiting tonight... 50% off! I was told to try Saturday and not Sunday, as Sunday would be very busy due to all the invited guests.
