It may not be a destination restaurant, but the fast-casual Meraki Greek Grill hits a sweet spot in what has been a weak spot in Las Vegas -- Greek food. Despite its humble surroundings, Meraki has the large menu and concerned and gracious service of white tablecloth places that cost twice as much or more. The latest from the former owners of The Great Greek in Henderson, the food is fresh and the seasoning assertive (except, strangely for the most popular dish on the menu, the beef-lamb gyro). In a few cases, sauces and yogurt overpowered proteins. When fish specials are offered, try them!
Meraki is hardly undiscovered among locals. Expect a crowd at lunch (and a staff that is more than able to accommodate them). Prices are gentle and portions are enormous.
