I'm having a dinner party for eight next Saturday. I have most of my menu decided, but I need some suggestion for sides for my main dish.
I'm starting with butternut squash risotto, main entree will be phyllo wrapped seafood strudle with roasted red pepper cream sauce, dessert will likely be individual lemon tarts with creme brulee tops.
I think I need some greens or some vegetable to go with my seafood strudles, but I don't know what. The strudles will likely be a seafood roll, cut in a bias and served with the sauce. I can't think of a good vegetable that will compliment the plate composition and at the same time compliment the seafood. Any ideas?
