We went to Mendocino Grill on Tuesday for the first time in a very long time. Got the oyster stew and I'll put in a seconder that I think it's just about the best I've ever had. The special--a double Niman Ranch pan-roasted pork chop with spaetzle, a very light parmesan sauce, and swiss chard--was so yummy I am still thinking about it.
Thanks, Steve! For the rest of you--if you haven't gone, go. All four of us were in raptures. The house-smoked trout was really good. The char was very nice also. And cheese plates to finish! Yay!
