Memphis: late Friday, all day Sunday?

Patryce Britton | Aug 3, 200202:19 PM     1

I'll be in Memphis with my parents at the end of Elvis week for a family wedding. I'd like to know of a good place to eat after we fly in at 8:30 Friday evening, and some good bets for all three(four?) meals Sunday. Our departure is at 9:10pm.I have searched previous posts and am confident that we will find sufficent BBQ to get by on Saturday, and perhaps we'll manage to make it to Brother Juniper's for breakfast that day.(are they open Sunday?)

The reception will be at the Peabody, so I sure hope the food there will be good.

If anyone could point out which BBQ joints _are_ open Sunday, that would be great, I know they tend not to be around these parts (NC piedmont), and I'd love to be able to squeeze in more than just one. We're also fans of Vietnamese(are Lotus, Pho Pasteur or Saigon Le open Sundays?) and most any other sort of good ethnic food.

Our hotel is in East Memphis, and assuming our reservation is honored we will have a car, so outlying spots are fine.

I'll post another inquiry for our non-food interests on the other board. Thanks!!
