With melons being cheap and plentiful now I like to freeze the flesh for use inn frozen daiquiris or margaritas. Because there is so much water in cantaloupes, watermelon and honeydews, the flavor of the drink could sometimes use a boost. I was wondering about melon flavored syrups. Would they give me the added flavor I'm looking for? Can you recommend any brands or methods for making a good melon frozen cocktail. I generally use a lime based margarita mix but could use fresh lime juice and sugar.
