Mediterraneo Greenwich

Went to this (obviously) Mediterranean restaurant in Greenwich last Tuesday. Place was about half empty and very quiet-the acoustics would probably make it quite noisy when full. Very uncomfortable chairs reminded me of high school homeroom. Waitress seemed more interested in chatting with a bar customer than us, but overall service was OK. Started with grilled calamari over chicory and radicchio, which was fine, but a fairly small portion. I had a really excellent Chilean sea bass with an unusual combination of mushrooms, salsify and slab bacon chunks on a bed of arugla which worked really well and the fish was perfectly grilled. My companion had seafood risotto which was on the bland side and I thought the rice was overcooked. Entrees are in the $20's and the portions on the small side. 2 glasses of wine, one appetizer and 2 entrees ran $78 before tip.
