Meatballs - to precook or not?

I'm making a batch of meatballs to stock the freezer. I usually just freeze them raw and defrost before cooking completely.

I've always found the ones I cook frozen raw to be as tender and tasty as a freshly made meatball. I'm wondering if it might be better to par cook before freezing. Might save me a tiny bit of time later. But will it affect the flavor? Any opinions on this?
