The signature dish at Moody's The Backroom is their fantastic "Never the Same Wagyu Meatballs", which are a different recipe each day, depending on what scraps of meat and charcuterie are lying around that day.
Well now, for those of you who haven't the patience to make a reservation or wait in line for a bar seat at The Backroom, your problem is solved:
A "Never the Same Meatball Sub" is on the menu in Moody's Deli next door! (not listed on the website, but it is on the paper menu)
I also think they've changed up the recipe a bit for the better, since the last time I was in The Backroom the meatballs were quite spicy. Yumm! Same with the sub I had yesterday.
And some gossip from Wesley: Only 1-2 months until the offsite New England Charcuterie production facility is online. At which time Moody's Deli/The Backroom will have ~28 different cured meats available year-round, rather than on a rotating basis as it is now.
