Picked up a Wagyu NY Strip this weekend and took home and cooked it. I was really curious to see what the quality was for this delicasy. I wasn't dissappointed. The meat had a great meaty taste and an unbelieveable texture.
Will I buy wagyu again at $36 a pound for a strip? Maybe. If I had a great friend who happened to appreciate great beef I would. Or I might stick to the excellent prime beef they sell at the meat shop.
