Meat loaf at Green Street

Will Owen | Dec 23, 2004 12:10 PM

Just remembered where I had that dreadful meat loaf: Green Street restaurant in Pasadena. Profoundly disappointing, since I'd had a few excellent lunches there, and this was my first dinner visit. But there were other disappointments as well - perfunctory, inattentive service, a significant part of the wine list out of stock, dinner prices disproportionately higher than the already expensive lunch ones. For this kind of money I would expect that the meat loaf would not be about as moist and flavorful as dry kibble, and that the mashed potatoes might not be gluey...and I would be wrong.
