Meat - frozen (raw) to cooked then frozen again ....

Eeatz | Aug 4, 202002:34 PM     8

Hi Hounds. Is this okay? I picked up some chicken liver at a local farm and it is frozen in 2 lb. portions. I'm the only (or lonely) one eating it as my partner abstains. Can I cook it and then refreeze for later? Two pounds is a lot - even for me. I did see some posts on freezing pate' but I've never made that. Maybe there is another way to make and freeze it. I just eat it plain, cooked in butter and salt. Maybe just stick it in a freezer bag and get all the air out?? I ask because I usually just go with fresh but couldn't pass up the local product. Thanks folks!!
