I'm growing Roma tomatoes in pots on my deck. They've been doing really well--growing strong with lots of flowers. I excitedly cut open the first ripe tomato that appeared this weekend figuring finally a tomato that will be red, ripe, juicy and taste like a real tomato. Dreams dashed. The poor thing was mealy with that aenemic whitish yellowy rim around the inside. I know we've been deluged with rain here in NYC but could there be other reasons for this tomato disaster?
