Recent Meals in Scottsdale

Just returned from a few days of R&R. My favorite meal was dinner at Lon's at the Hermosa Inn. Excellent. Eveything was delicious. And we later found out from the waiter that it was the chef's night off. Rather than feel cheated I thought it a testament to the chef's staff. Eat out on the patio if you go. A lovely evening. And if you like blue cheese, be sure to order the house salad.

Elements at Sanctuary - I had been last year and was anxious to return. It was a busy saturday night with lots of large (and loud) parties. So aside from that, the food was very good. The restaurant is beautiful. I only wish I had gone earlier to experience some of the sunset.

Masto's - exquisite steak. No point in going unless you are going to eat steak. (They do have other things but why bother when you can have that steak!) The heat the plates to 400 degrees and the grill is at 100 degrees. Everything is delicious.
