over the past month i've been reading bit by bit day by day and i'm slowly still gathering information for my 3 week trip to tokyo. i happened upon a nytimes article describing an experience with the always helpful silverjay at ichiran and my stomach started gurgling in excitement. i can feel it at the pit of my stomach, that tokyo will be an ultimate food experience for me and i yearn for it to be much longer than it will be.
so tell me please... what is the best food experience that you've had in tokyo? i'd love if i could recreate and find that moment of truth that silverjay talks about when you seriously debate having a second helping even though you might very well explode.
this won't be the last of me!
