My honey and I are moving to Santa Monica soon and I am wondering what the 'hounds think our very first restaurant meal should be after we touch down. We are vegetarians (except for the inevitable nam pla in Thai food!) and have lived (and loved) Thailand, India and Hungary. We love spicy food, but also more delicate flavors (properly ferment-y injera in an an Ethiopian place, for example, or the curry leaves in a potent rasam).
So, where should we try first?
