First morning in Barcelona, went to the Boqueria to El Quim de la Boqueria and had their poached baby squid and eggs sunny side up. It was sublime, the savory, incredibly fresh squid merging with the egg yolks. A combo I had never thought about before. I purposely spent the next few days having other great breakfasts and lots of good squid. Then I went back to see if it was still the best meal.
Yes it was. So simple, so good.
