Well we have returned from our visit to Boston via a nice trip on ship to see the fall colors. Coming from California I have never had the enjoyment of a four season year.
I was not able to find a McDonald's that still served a Lobster roll or as our Canadian hounds call it a Lobster wrap. It is not all year round.
But I did have at least three wonderful treats.
New England Clam Chowder made with fresh clams. What a wonderful treat the taste and texture is something to behold.
Big belly clams were just out of this world. Now I now Joel and Bonni are talking about.
Fresh Blueberry Pie was a treat also. Mrs. Yimster only give me a bite.
We have Lobsters in a Chinese place which was very fresh and good. We had one steamed and the other salt and pepper. Both were great. The other dishes were okay after 11 day aboard ship eating no Chinese food at all. But the waiter said what did I want for Boston and said the San Francisco was more like Hong Kong. But the only thing I find lacking was the selection of good Chinese vegetables. GG and Limster I am sorry I was not able to get a hold of you but there was no answer. So I am sure that I did not find the best place in Boston for Chinese food. I hope I can get a raincheck on another visit.
We had Lobster roll but not at McDonald very good and interesting. Now if I can find Lobster meat in the Bay Area I may try to make my own. Any recipes for me to try?
Now when I get over the jet lag back to the Bay Area board.
