May I sing the praises of Mazzola's delicious cheese bread? What makes this bread so good? Moist with a chewy crust, with the tasty bite of provolone cheese in the center. The cheese sometimes rises to the surface and toasts up for a crunchy zesty bite. It sounds so simple, but there's something magical about it. I wish I could describe it with justice, but I'm just not that good. Besides, my hands would rather carry slice-to-mouth rather than type.
Some of you old timers are probably rolling your eyes, thinking, That's old news! We've known about that cheese bread for years!
I humbly accept my johnny-come-lately status, just don't take away my cheese bread! It's not often my buck-and-a-nickel frame can wolf down a whole loaf at one sitting. But since I just did, I thought it warranted a write-up.
