MAZA Restaurant (Orlando)

Patio Ted | Dec 5, 2011 09:18 AM

I've been waiting for this Afghan and Indian restaurant to open. It's owned by the same couple who owned Spice Cafe, which had great food, but closed because it was stuck in a bad location. The new place is bigger, well decorated, and may soon have a full liquor license.

It opened today and my wife and I were the first customers. We had the soup of the day (daal) and two vegetarian dishes served with rice and Indian bread. All the food was tasty and we ate for $7 each, which is a bargain. I'll have meat next time because the kabobs at the old place were great. People should definitely try MAZA if they are coming to Orlando's MetroWest area.
