Max for lunch

Another business lunch found me at Max in Sherman Oaks this afternoon for one of the most satisfying dishes I've had in awhile: a mushroom risotto with duck confit, arugula, parmesan and truffle oil for $11.50. My companions' other dishes, a chicken adobado and a sauteed butter fish were equally well received. I've not been here in a couple of years but will gladly return soon. The room is comfortable, the service attentive.
