Mauviel Copper Sauce Pan

Hi, I have purchased a Mauviel Copper Sauce pan and mistakenly applied too much heat...cooking with corn and butter.

The interior of the pan left actual *corn-shaped marks!!* and I am wondering if it is normal to have these marks after cooking each time. Is it normal for tin-lining to change its surface every time you cook or am I doing something absolutely wrong??

Can the pan be used as is or does it need to be repaired??

As I am just starting my journey with copper pans, I need some of your thoughts and comments. Thanks!
