maury's bake your own brownie

locura | Mar 22, 2002 03:09 PM

so late last night, i was grocery shopping at my neighbourhood d'ags, perusing the frozen food section when my eyes alighted on maury's bake your own brownie. being a huge fan of the city bakery, i bought it home, preheated my oven, peeled the cardboard cover off the packet and popped it in for 8 minutes.
when it came out, i poked my spoon into the warm, crisp surface, to release a volcano of molten chocolate lava. it was so good - moist, chewy and fresh from the oven without having to break an egg! city bakery also uses the best ingredients - you can tell the good quality. anyway, for those of you who like oven baked brownies - this is ZERO hassle, delicious and you don't feel like a pig for eating an entire pan at one sitting :)
