Stopped in FINALLY this past Saturday. Beach lot was full so we took advantage of the 11:30am opening. The three RI oysters available were all delicious (only $1.85 each) - fresh, briny, and pristine. Full of liquor.
B had the lobster roll ($16) - full of lightly dressed fresh meat, little bits of extraneous celery, nicely grilled and buttered roll. Delicious fries. This was on the heels of trying the hot buttered lobster roll at Neptune Oyster in Boston, so he felt that the Neptune version was one was more generous (what do you expect for $25, though?).
I had to get the whole belly fried clam platter ($19). Oh wow. The breading was perfectly scant, to allow the flavor of the clams to shine through. A refreshing cole slaw on the side and plentiful of the good fries.
Cold crisp gruner veltliner, Loose Cannon IPA (on tap!). Lunch taken out on the deck. Yum.
